Ludlow and Clee Hill
Described by Sir John Betjeman as "probably the loveliest town in England", Ludlow is the largest town in South Shropshire. The medieval walled town comprises over 500 listed buildings and sits near the confluence of the Rivers Teme and Corve. The town of Ludlow has played a significant part in the history of the Welsh Marches and Wales.
This view of the town is drawn from Whitcliffe common to the west of the town and features the tower of St. Laurence's church and Clee Hill in the background.
